Embedded Licensees

Embedded HDMI^® Technology is utilized for a number of market applications such as aerospace, automotive, healthcare, industrial automation and consumer. The ease-of use, stability, reliability and robustness of HDMI® Technology is an easy choice for industries that routinely rely on equipment performance in extreme or specialized application-specific conditions. We have released a new license opportunity, the “Embedded Device License Agreement” (EDL) license, that satisfies the growing demand for the internal incorporation of HDMI technology.

Similar to the High-Definition Multimedia Specification Adopter Agreement, the EDL provides access to the 1.4b Specifications, manufacturer rights and protections similar to the Adopter Agreement. Embedded Device Licensees also can have their companies listed on the HDMI website for visible customer verification, and can take part in HDMI LA-sponsored events and tradeshows.
